Preserving and protecting the health, safety and wellbeing of our students and staff is the basic tenent of our CORE Cares strategy. Everybody at CORE works hard on creating a culture where we can talk frankly about what is on our minds. Feedback is welcomed and we attend to making things better straight away. As we explore the last week at CORE we can see how each of our schools support the physical and mental well being of our school communities.

Throughout the trust in these difficult and confusing times we have pushed through the challenges and shown resilience in all aspects of school life. You will see that last week at CORE students faced school life with the strength and pride instilled in them by their support network at school. Our Trustees and Local Governors have demonstrated their continuing resilience and dedication to our schools despite the challenges of governing remotely.

Last week at CORE #2
We had a week of leadership and celebration at CORE. From School Council leadership roles, through leadership mentoring to the naming of the Eternal Flame Fellow, students’ leadership skills and potential were recognised across the Trust. Last week's activities are just a flavour of the breadth of leadership opportunities available to students. If this wasn’t enough to celebrate, we also received national recognition for our partnership working in the Echo Eternal Project.

Last week at CORE #1
After months of providing an online education programme, we enjoyed welcoming back many more of our students in person. Seeing our classrooms full of eager students, grateful for the return to a routine and taking the well laid out precautions in their stride, has given us all great satisfaction.
